| Mass Effect 3 Resurgence Pack |
History
Some Facebook user uploaded an image when he claimed to have downloaded a "Developer Pack." It contained images of six gold rarity items consisting of characters that were not available to the public. No action was taken against the uploader. Also, Operation Beachhead's description mentioned about batarians, geth, justicars and krogan mercs. After some waiting, it was announced: the Mass Effect 3 Resurgence Pack!

This DLC is more like an update to Mass Effect 3's multiplayer mode were we get new characters with unique skillsets, new maps and new weapons.
New characters
The geth will be joining the war effort as Engineers and Infiltrators. The batarians will join as Soliders and Sentinels. The Krogan Battlemaster will be a Vanguard class (Yay! Krogan Vanguards!) and the Asari Justicar will be an adept (with a different set of skills and appearance).

A couple of new maps will be available. Firebase Hydra is located in Ontarom and is a hydro power plant facility that's crucial of providing energy at the satellite array of Firebase Dagger. The second map is Firebase Condor, located in one of the moons of Palaven (which is actually Menae).

We're three new weapons as well and they're fierce! That's the Striker Assault Rifle, Geth Plasma SMG (now, we just need a pistol to complete the colelction!) and Kishock Harpoon Gun.

Although my wishes for a batarian squadmate is but a dream, at least I get the chance to play as one! Looks like the rationale for Operation Beachhead was to level up in order to give these characters a try without having to grind for the levels!
